OMP M2 EVO MK2 and VBar NEO Micro Rx Setup with Macrocells

OMP MK2 and Macrocells with VBar

In this video we show you how to set the VBar NEO Micro Receiver with the OMP M2 EVO MK2 using an S.Bus lead and macrocells.

Macrocells download:
https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/ea93rf…

Instructions:
To load this, connect VControl to PC as a USB drive (in transmitter settings, it defaults to stick mode for sim use).
Copy this Macrocells file into the Macro folder.

Assuming you are wired from the VBar Aux1 port to the OFS3 S.BUS port – correctly – (signal pin to signal pin, etc).
Power up the model, and bind to it if not already done.
If you haven’t previously connected, it will automatically create a new model.
When the wizard starts, Choose S.BUS.
Nothing else needed here – set a model name now if you want, then close the window.

Go into Model Setup – Macrocell Setup
Check that I/O Configuration is set to AUX1 – S.BUS (red icon). Close that screen.
Click Load Macrocells, choose the file when prompted and it will load.
Close out of the menus.

Overview:
Bank switch for 3 flight modes.
Motor switch for off/idle/run.
Option 3 switch for stability mode.

All pitch curves have zero at mid stick.
Bank 1: Reduced negative pitch and low(ish) headspeed for calmer flying.
Bank 2: Full pitch range, medium headspeed.
Bank 3: Full pitch range, higher headspeed.

Headspeeds can be changed in Macrocell 39. Banks 1 – 3 respectively.
Leave bank 4 as is.

Pitch curves can be changed in Macrocells 33, 34 and 35, for Bank 1, Bank 2 and Bank 3 respectively.

To adjust your agility, scroll up on the home screen, and adjust Aileron, Elevator and Rudder values to suit.
To adjust expo settings (and agility on the same screen), go to Flight Parameter – Aileron/Elevator etc.
